How to prepare for your first session
Start with the free call
The first step isn't a session, it's a free 15-minute call. You describe in a few sentences what you're bringing, I tell you which method fits and how long the meeting takes. If your topic belongs with a doctor or a psychotherapist, I'll say so plainly.
The day before
There is nothing to prepare intellectually. I don't need your life story or a numbered list of problems.
What does help:
- book the time with room around it — about an hour for Emotion Code, Body Code and Belief Code, longer for PSYCH-K®
- find a quiet place where nobody will call you away
- check your connection — I work over Google Meet, though an ordinary phone call works just as well
- have water and something to write with
One sentence instead of an analysis
The one thing worth bringing is a single sentence: what you'd like to be different. It doesn't have to be precise. "I want to stop dreading that conversation" is plenty. We'll sharpen it together at the start.
If you're booking a session by proxy, without being present, we agree the topic in advance and you confirm your consent. I then do the muscle testing on myself on your behalf.
How the meeting runs
We begin by talking and setting the goal. Then I work with the chosen method, using muscle testing as the way of checking each question. At the end we go over what came up and agree one concrete step for the days ahead.
You don't have to recount difficult events in detail or re-live them. If you want to stop at any point, we stop.
Afterwards
You receive a written summary of what we worked on and what to watch for. With the Emotion Code it also lists the emotions released, in the terms the method uses.
The next 24–48 hours are integration time. Many people describe calm or lightness; some feel tired, sleepy or more emotional. That's normal. Drink more water, keep the evening undemanding, and give yourself an ordinary, quiet day.
